In September 2022, I worked on a 2-minute animation created to introduce the concept of volunteerism to elementary school students. The animation is divided into two segments: the first explores the idea of "paying it forward," illustrating how small acts of kindness can have a ripple effect, while the second presents key statistics about volunteer services in Hong Kong, highlighting their importance and societal impact.

The animation was designed with a simple and clear style to resonate with the young audience. As the lead animator, I guided the team through the creative and production process, ensuring that the visuals and messaging aligned with the project’s educational goals. I also personally handled the drawing of visuals in Adobe Photoshop and the motion design in Adobe After Effects. For post-production, I led the editing process in Adobe Premiere Pro to ensure seamless transitions and a polished final animation. Through this project, I not only contributed creatively but also managed team coordination, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow to meet project goals.

Storyboard Example
I created the storyboard with instructions on it for our animation team to communicate ideas and to maintain consistency among our work. It was also used to present the initial idea to our clients. We created an animatic after finalizing the shots.
