This project was created for the Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden and involved producing a 15-minute documentary that delves into the history of the Six-Day War of 1899. This conflict, which occurred between the British government and several major clans of the New Territories in Hong Kong, resulted in significant casualties and marked a pivotal moment in the region’s history. My role in this project was to animate the historical documents, photos, and other archival materials using After Effects in May 2021. I focused on transforming static images into engaging and dynamic graphics, bringing the past to life for the audience while maintaining historical accuracy. By animating key documents and pictures, I helped convey the intensity of the conflict and the emotional weight of the events, making the documentary both visually compelling and informative.
